CITIZEN ACTION GROUP MEETINGS

Each Citizen Action Group organized community meetings after the January meeting. During this meeting in February each group presented what was discussed and a plan for the future.

Community Event(s)

is focused on organizing a Farmer’s Market in Basalt. Meetings are ongoing towards this effort. Updates on this Citizen Action Group will be posted here.

Youth/Young People

is focused on organizing after-school activities in cooperation with the schools and non-profit organizations.  Updates on this Citizen Action Group will be posted here.

Issues and Future

is addressing issues pertaining to current and future civic vitality in all areas of Basalt.  Updates on this Citizen Action Group will be posted here.

Rivers

is continuing efforts to engage the river(s) in and around Basalt in cooperation with organizations that are already involved in this effort.  Updates on this Citizen Action Group will be posted here.

Housing

is engaged in open discussion about housing issues and ideas for Basalt.
