Missing rivers Missing youth Missing relationship with Southside & Willits Missing natural environment focus and relationship to built environment Third floor options Missing arts and culture Missing non-profit civic activity Describing current action rather than future Too much on-street parking Good for Midland Avenue doesn’t include other nearby downtown areas Is a good concept piece for downtown	Missing – better connections between parts of Basalt - River connection - Town gathering space - Civic engagement - Traffic pattern (one way) - Need ongoing community dialogue to keep excitement and energy going Chamber email? More collaboration between Chamber and citizens/business owners What does “intensities” mean? Restaurant limitations to first floor? Be more organic and self-generating, not just about what it should look like Agree but want to see more use of it Focuses too much on physical development and not about people and activity	Specific about architecture and cornice points Lived with great intent along with other parts of Basalt – look beyond Midland Ave. Greater emphasis on interaction with other parts of Town Third floor quandary – higher buildings/what use on second floor? Connect Midland to other parts – hub and spokes analogy Barber shop to highway or where? Bridge? [what area is being discussed?] Openness to work with property owners to achieve these objectives “Sense of place” (and verbiage in general) is vague Add life to material from meetings Alleys and linking language is helpful Challenges with what defines town center
